BETRAYAL

FAMILY
Many poor families would work for the landlords at cheap price as they had no place to live and no money to eat, their only safe haven would be to work for the landlords who were rich and provided food and shelter for their workers.
We left our village because the locals thieves would rob the villagers everyday and if anyone would refuse they would kill them, it was a difficult decision for my father, he was born and raised in this village and now he was forced to leave it. My family consisted of me, my mother, my father we were three individuals hungry with no money as we left everything in our home and escaped it was not like we had much, my father and I would work at the stop where local labours were needed and we were given wages on a daily basis. But now we had only one choice to work at the landlords barn and take care of the animals where their were two extra rooms, in one room our family lived and the second room was empty kept for other workers who would come to live in.
We were given a small amount of money every month for our work, from that money we were unable to save any. After 3 months of work one day a small boy and three girls came to the barn with the landlord, he called us and informed us that from this day onwards these people will help you and live in the empty room.
Our work was distributed and we the work would end early and we would go back earlier than before, my parents were very happy because of it, they were never a big thinkers they were happy for a small room as a house and a small amount of money for their expenses.
"One day the small boy came to me asked me about my name"
Henry: hi my name is Henry what is your name?
Rayan: my name is rayan nice to meet you.
I told him everything about myself, and he told me that he and his sisters have been living on the streets from a early age and doesn't remember anything else, I was a little sad but felt that he would become a great companion.
Months turned into years and our lives started to change. We started to work at a coal mine and my parents would work at the barn and we started to save money and he was thinking of a better and brighter future for myself and my family.
Henry and his sister were doing the same thing but the landlord had other things planned for us.
BETRAYAL

The worst part of blindly believing in someone else is that you never think that they will ever betray you, or deceive you. You are living in a fantasy of a brighter future and a life better than before but this world reminds you that you are nothing and you hold no importance and kicks you down on the ground.
My best friend, my brother Henry was always secretive towards his chats with me and never showed what he really wanted.
I had saved a small amount of money from which I was thinking to rent a small hut which had two rooms in it and one bathroom, I was really exited and didn't tell my parents about it so I thought I should tell Henry about it. It was my hard earned money, when I told Henry about it he was quiet and didn't say much I felt weird but my emotions over whelmed me. I that was the day when my dreams will shatter.
The next day my father got an argument with the landlord and he threatened to kick us out of the barn and my parents got scared, when I came back and heard the event which happened I responded with the good news of moving out to our own place where my parents would not be forced to work but will live happily while I would work, "So I went under my pillow to show them the money to find there was nothing under neath, it felt like I had my cut my heart out, I rushed and screamed while my parents stood their quietly with their eyes telling me that it's alright. I was shocked and confused, at that moment nothing came to my mind to what had happened and where did the money disappear to, but my heart was broken as my dream had slipped out of my hands that easily my hard work wasted.
The days went by and my father was treated badly every day, a few days later Henry quiet his job and started working at the barn again. I never asked the reason for him but it didn't felt right.
One day Henry took his sisters and left the barn with no reason to why he left, he didn't even tell the landlord about the reason, I even asked the landlord about it and he responded with nothing. My father got sick while working one day, I had to leave my job at the coal mine, as the landlord was a strict person but I had to do it, "my father was healing slowly but we were again in the same life of inconvenience as the small amount that the landlord gave us was very limited but we were together working hard and living a hard life.
Winters night would be very cold, and if it rained we would shiver all night and would feel very cold, as one night it started to rain, the rain was so heavy that it broke the ceiling of the barn and the water was filling our room and the animals were getting wet. So my father asked me to go inform the landlord, I went to the main house of the landlord it was the first time in ten years that I had gone inside the mansion of the landlord, it was a very big place a white chandelier with hundred percent of bulbs was hanging, as soon as my wet feet touched the red Persian card, the landlord yelled at me to stop and tell him the reason why he had come inside, I told him the reason, so he went quiet for a moment and told me to bring all the animals inside the mansion and tie them in this empty hall, I stood there in shock, while he yelled at me to go and hurry, the animals were well trained and it took us mere minutes to take them from the broken barn and tie them in the empty mansion, but we were left with a problem of where would we sleep, we tied the animals and started to leave but the landlord asked us to bring whatever they feel would be destroyed by the rain to a room upstairs, we didn't have much things so we brought everything thing that we ever possessed to the mansion, the landlord guided us towards the room and opened the room and advised us to stay here. As we entered the room, it was massive with two king sized beds and two bathrooms one at one corner and other at the next corner, it had big sheets and had pillows one table was filled with fresh fruits and we shocked and amazed. That night was the first night we ever slept comfortably.
The next day came and we slept till noon, I woke up and opened the curtains to see outside that the roof of the barn had already been repaired, I went to my parents and woke them up and told them the room had being repaired, so we three cleaned the beds and rushed downstairs to see the floors were clean and no animals where there. The land lord entered the mansion and asked us to join him for tea, we obediently, followed him and sat on the chairs with him.
Landlord: I lived in this house with my wife and son, we built the barn with our own hands where you people work and live, my son was always into animals so I bought these animals for him, but he was always sick from the day he was burned, the doctors told my wife that he doesn't have much time to live, so I bought the animals and wanted to surprise him but he died, and soon after that my wife died too, that is why I never had the energy to destroy the barn or to work there, so for more than 15 years I have given space to people to live and work in the barn. "My heart was always in sorrow whenever I would enter the barn but you people have been loyal to me and worked here without any complain, so I think it is right to tell you what really happened with Henry, henry stole the money from rayan and ran away with his sisters, these children live and work at one place steal money and valuables and leave to some other city where no one knows them.
After hearing the landlord it was clear as water for me as he was the only person in this world who I told about the money and the Rental hut, it made my heart cry for many years I felt a strong bond with him but he did this to me. I realised than that he never told me anything, everything was a lie and every story was made up just to gain my trust.
Landlord: you three will live in this mansion from now on, your monthly fee will also be increased your loyalty has given me the strength that I was needed, after the deaths of my loved one.
And we started to live in the mansion and looked after the animals, the betrayal of my companion was very difficult for me but I learned an important lesson that trust and loyalty is earned after hard work and dedication and enduring for others and being patient until your time comes.
